Graham Harris was born in Gloucester, brought up in rural Kent and moved to Amersham in 1977. He has lived in Amersham for the last 34 years. Graham qualified as a chartered surveyor and set up his own practice in Watford in 1985. He retired from the practice in 2007 but has remained a consultant with the practice. He has been married to Jill for 30 years and both of their children attended local grammar schools.
