The long term future of Chiltern Open Air Museum (COAM) has been secured after management at the charity reached out to Gareth Williams and their local Councillors.
As Deputy Leader of Bucks Council, Gareth Williams worked with the planning team and local Councillors who brought Comer Homes and COAM together, working constructively and amicably to resolve outstanding issues. The land will now be transferred to the museum for £1, as part of the S106 agreement with Bucks Council.
“It is fantastic that this freehold issue now resolved after your local Councillors helped
bring both parties together and ensure this vital local community asset can now thrive. I was glad to help in this process with Councillor Simon Rouse, Linda Smith, Isobel Darby and Carl Jackson.
Well done to both Chiltern Open Air Museum and Comer Homes Group for working constructively to enable this transfer to happen.”
