Local MP Dame Cheryl Gillan MP has called on the Government to protect the precious chalk streams of the Chiltern Hills.
Dame Cheryl helped to secure a debate in the House of Commons on the plight of our precious chalk streams, including the River Chess and the Misbourne.
England has 85% of the world’s chalk streams, nine of which are found here in the Chilterns, but they are threatened by extraction and the £100 billion HS2 project.
